Ah, nothing like a hot, fresh cup of Joe! No, really, there’s nothing like it and the stains coffee leaves on your teeth. Of course it occurs over time, but continuous coffee drinking without proper care could leave you feeling a bit self-conscious. Nobody wants that! So let’s discuss coffee stains on your teeth and why you don’t have to live with them.
How does it happen? Well, coffee stains on your teeth occur when the tannins in the coffee group up on the tooth enamel. While solid oral hygiene may help with that, it’s not always enough. You could start with trying a teeth whitening toothpaste, but if after roughly two weeks you don’t notice a difference, you may need something a bit stronger to battle those coffee stains.
A stronger option to battle those pesky coffee stains on your teeth is teeth whitening strips. You could use really intense ones that aim at solving the coffee stains on your teeth issue within three days or so; or, if you’re a bit sensitive to teeth whitening, you can go for the white strips that are designed to be used for less time right away, over a more gradual period of time.
Small lifestyle changes can also be helpful, such as bring a toothbrush and toothpaste to work with you for when you finish your cup of Joe. If that’s a bit too much of a hassle, even something as simple as making a quick trip to the bathroom to rinse your mouth with water will help keep your teeth whiter, and your cup still full!
